Built To Run does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All your data stays on your device.
The app reads running workout data (distance, duration, heart rate, calories) from Apple Health with your explicit permission. It does not write to Apple Health.
The app connects to your Strava account via OAuth 2.0 to read your running activities. Your Strava access tokens are stored securely in the iOS Keychain on your device. The app only requests read access to your activities and profile.

No analytics, crash reporting, or advertising SDKs are included.
You can clear all cached data at any time from Settings → Data Cache → Clear Cache. Disconnecting from Strava removes stored tokens. Deleting the app removes all local data.
